Ballons made into animals and other characters

UPDATE!
Check out these creative students! and the balloon characters they came up with for the Balloon's over Bookcases fun in library.

Engineer a BALLOON PUPPET for our “Balloons Over Bookcases” library parade.

In library this month, we will be reading about the Macy's Day parade. We will also watch a short video of balloons being inflated for the parade.

Students have the opportunity (optional) to create their own balloon to be displayed in the Ellison Park Elementary Library.

Directions: Students will be given a balloon in library or can grab a 12" balloon from home. Using your balloon and items such as: tape, construction paper, permanent markers, string, glue, etc., design a puppet for Ellison Park Elementary’s “Balloons Over Bookcases” library parade. Balloons must be appropriate and may not show blood or weapons of any kind.

Please have your student return their balloon character by Friday 11/22/2024

Contact Mrs. Larsen with any questions at chlarsen@dsdmail.net

Balloons of multiple colors will be given to students in library. Please do not use helium. We will place the balloons on plastic sticks to support them.
